Privacy Policy for DoodleBolt

Last Updated: October 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the DoodleBolt mobile application (the “App”) collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with.

In short: Your game progress and your drawings stay on your device. If you appear on the global leaderboard, a randomly generated account identifier, your chosen display name, your scores and your country are stored on our server and are publicly visible. We never see your drawings. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other directly identifying information.

1. Information Stored On Your Device

The following is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us:

You can erase all of this at any time by deleting the App or clearing its data in your device settings.

2. Information Stored On Our Server (Leaderboard)

The App offers an optional global and country leaderboard. To make this work, we store the following on our database provider, Supabase:

2.1 This Information Is Public

Your display name, country flag and scores are visible to every other player who opens the leaderboard. Please do not use your real name or any personal information as your display name.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

Not all of the advertising services listed above are necessarily active at the same time. We list each service that may supply advertising in the App so that this policy remains accurate if we change provider.

Advertising mediation. AppLovin MAX is a mediation platform, which means it allows several advertising networks to compete to fill an advertising slot. When mediation is used, your advertising identifier and IP address may also be shared with those mediated advertising networks — which may include Unity Ads, Liftoff Monetize, Mintegral, Pangle and Chartboost — each acting under its own privacy policy. AppLovin maintains the current list of its advertising partners in its privacy policy.

We do not use any analytics or user-tracking SDKs.

4. Advertising and Consent

Where advertising is enabled, the App may show banner, interstitial and rewarded advertisements supplied by the advertising services listed in Section 3. If you purchase the ad-free option, banner and interstitial advertisements are not shown.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App presents a consent dialog through a Google-certified Consent Management Platform provided by our advertising partner, before any personalized advertising is served. If you decline, you will receive non-personalized advertising instead. You can review or change your choice at any time using the Privacy Settings option on the App's home screen.

On iOS, the App also asks for permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, advertising still works but is non-personalized.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area, and other ages where local law differs).

If you believe a child has submitted a display name or other information to the leaderboard, please contact us at the address in Section 9 and we will remove it.

6. In-App Purchases

If you purchase the ad-free option, the payment itself is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We never receive or have access to your payment card details, billing address or store account credentials. We receive only an anonymous confirmation, via RevenueCat, that the purchase is valid and active.

7. Your Rights and How To Delete Your Data

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to that processing.

7.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland (GDPR)

Our legal basis for storing leaderboard data is your consent, given when you choose to appear on the leaderboard by playing. Our legal basis for processing purchase data is the performance of a contract. Advertising data is processed on the basis of the consent you give through the consent dialog described in Section 4. You may withdraw consent at any time by the methods in Section 7.

7.2 California and Other United States Jurisdictions (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, sharing an advertising identifier with Google AdMob for targeted advertising may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws. You can opt out using your device's advertising settings, described in Section 7.

7.3 Other Regions

Where laws such as Japan's APPI, China's PIPL, Türkiye's KVKK, or Personal Data Protection Acts across Asia apply, you retain the rights those laws grant you, including access and deletion. Requests can be made using the contact address below. Note that our service providers listed in Section 3 may store data outside your country of residence.

8. Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or for legal and regulatory reasons. The “Last Updated” date above always reflects the most recent version.
